At Dorset Tea we love an afternoon stroll on the golden sands of one of our beaches, or perhaps a swim. That's why we are proud to tell you that Dorset has 9 Blue Flag beaches, meaning they have bet certain criteria for environmental, safety and water quality standards - so you know these beaches are some of the best in the world.

Swanage Central, Purbeck

"A gentle shelving sandy beach flanked by a promenade and backed by colourful gardens, an ideal family beach in a traditional Victorian seaside resort." - BlueFlag

Sandbanks Peninsular, Poole

"A family friendly beach that slowly and gradually slopes away, ensuring it is safe for even the smallest of children. The fine golden sand and excellent array of facilities make it very popular in the summer months." - BlueFlag

Shore Road, Poole

"Adjoining Sandbanks Peninsula, Shore Road is a popular sandy beach with an excellent range of facilities and scenic views to the Purbecks. It is popular with younger, more active visitors but is also used by many families." - BlueFlag

Canford Cliffs, Poole
