Dorset Tea is excited to announce our first birthday this weekend - the 23rd and 24th of October 2010!!

To celebrate and mark the occasion Dorset Tea will once again be attending the famous Wimborne Food Festival outside Wimborne Minster's church.

This year we will be making lovely hot cups of Dorset Tea and selling them for only 20p! All proceeds will be donated to our two charities, Dorset Wildlife Trust and Chombo Orphanage in Africa. There's also a slice of birthday cake going for those who are there first in line!

Dorset Tea are giving away the chance for one lucky Dorset Tea drinker to win a VIP table on the end of Bournemouth pier, this Sunday the 22nd to watch the air show from!

Key West has created a 'VIP' area on the end of the pier, specially selected for those who wish to miss the crowds and watch the show in style. You will have your own table with 360 degree views of Bournemouth and the show.

Dorset Tea is very proud to announce that we have been awarded a double gold star award from the 2010 Great Taste Awards!

From the judges comments Dorset Tea was described to have, 'Great balance, brisk and bright. A good feel in the mouth. Well balanced'.

Dorset Tea is so excited to share this information with our customers and hope that it makes people feel proud when they drink something locally produced in Dorset that has been recognised to be of a high quality.

Dorset Tea was proud this weekend to of been chosen to support the Macmillan Cancer research charity bike ride.

Sunday the 4th of July saw over 800 cyclists covering routes from between 10 to 100 miles throughout Dorset. The total amount raised has not yet been published, but event organiser Peter Smith expressed to us that he was confident this year would be one of their best yet.

Dorset Tea was happy to donate a case of our 80s luxury black tea bags to the thirsty cyclists after their long ride.

Dorset Tea is proud to say that we have a new addition to the family! Alex from our tea blending room who helped blend our fantastic tea has now taken on the role of Dorset Tea's sales representative, meeting people all over Dorset and delivering our teas to them.

If you would like Alex to come and visit you to discuss the possibility of us supplying you with our tea, please do email us and we will have Alex contact you!

Remember it's available in selected Tescos, Waitrose and Asda stores, along with other local farm shops, delis, and shops.

You can now buy Dorset Tea in most of Dorset's Tescos, Asda, and Waitrose stores. Also local farm shops, delis and outlets are selling our wonderful tea.

Last weekend saw Dorset Tea at the Christchurch Food Festival, May 8th - 9th.

We shared a stall with The Daily Echo and were serving hot cups of free Dorset Tea with every Echo newspaper sold. We had a fantastic day meeting the people of Christchurch and its visitors, and served nearly 1,000 cups of tea and sold plenty also.

We also handed out over 1,000 of our leaflets with a Dorset Tea bag attached so the people we met could try our tea once they got home.

Hello to everyone we met and remember if you liked our tea it's available to buy in Tescos, Asda, and certain Waitrose stores!

Dorset Tea is proud to now announce that we are on shelf in Dorset's Asda and Tesco stores!

Adding to our current listing in Dorset's Waitrose stores, we are now available in areas such as Poole, Bournemouth, and a bit further afield.
